Hi, I'm Mary, a personal trainer and strength coach in North Bend, WA.
I love every moment of life in a strong body. I want you to experience that for yourself, too.
There’s a mental peace that comes from truly understanding what your body can do, pushing yourself near that limit consistently, and seeing the direct effects of your efforts. I love strength training as a practice of my physical awareness and growth, week after week. As a yoga teacher, I would teach students that yoga is the practice of directing your attention to a single point of meditation. Strength training has become my favorite “yoga”. Teaching strength as a practice of physical self-awareness is the approach I take with all of my clients.
Life is short and time is scarce, and a strong and functional body is worth investing in. I know because I haven’t always had it. I’ve spent years ill or a little broken before finally gathering enough theory, mentorship, and personal experimentation to understand what really works. Now I have the gift to pass that on to others.

Club Recognition
Trusted by respected coaches across track & field and strength training, I bring deep knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a calm, no-nonsense approach to helping people get stronger and reach their goals.
I'd like to say that training with Mary Hable would be a very wise choice in trainers.
Given her background and knowledge of physiology and all the varying types of training programs that are available for an individual or group, the landscape of success is directed by very specific knowledge applied day to day to achieve optimal outcomes. Mary has both the technical knowledge and life experience to coach you to that success.
I highly recommend training with her to achieve your goals.
— Coach Mike Cunliffe, Head Coach Seattle Speed Track & Field Club
My first impression of Mary was that she was very knowledgeable about fitness. Being an ex-college athlete, you could tell that she still had the self-discipline and drive regarding her own fitness.
Mary's calm no-nonsense approach when working with her clients is why she enables their success. I'm confident that anybody that works with Mary will achieve their fitness goals.
— Coach Monroe, Head Sprints Coach, USATF Level 2 Sprints/Hurdles/Relays
When Mary started training at Seattle Strength and Power, she proved that she has a great knowledge base of fitness and track and field training. Her continuous quest for knowledge led us to have many discussions on strength training methods and programming."
This last year she has proven to have an exceptional work ethic and has shown that she would make a great personal trainer or coach. I highly recommend Mary for working in the Fitness and Strength Training Industry.
